It’s actually 4 muscles! When a practitioner says “rotator cuff”, it’s a catch-all term to refer to: Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Subscapularis and Teres Minor.

These 4 muscles have different functions, so make sure you ask questions when your therapist says you have a rotator cuff injury!
